For over 75 years, NORMS Restaurants has served up
tasty dishes, family-friendly vibes, and exceptional
value across Southern California. But with big plans to
expand into new markets and neighboring states,
NORMS was ready to welcome a new generation and
a modern flavor.

We started with the debut of Norma, a fresh take on
the classic, motherly server archetype that embodied
the neighborhood camaraderie and welcoming spirit
NORMS was famous for and added a bicultural
relevancy.

Norma effortlessly connected with the brand’s
Hispanic and general market and brought life to the
tagline, “Where Life Happens.”

We flipped National Pancake Day into National
Hotcake Day — and an opportunity to introduce to
new people to NORMS 75-year-old OG hotcake recipe!
We also took on the competition in a social media
showdown of Hotcakes vs. Pancakes, and asked fans
to show their true colors and pick a side.

Tapping into influencer culture and
local events, we hosted a Taylor
Swift lookalike party during the LA
leg of her Eras Tour, encouraging
fans to join us to fuel up before the
show and possibly win tickets! It was
an “Enchanted” night that
significantly boosted brand
engagement, social followers, and
our friendship bracelet collection.

From promotions to partnerships to UGC and beyond,
we plan and execute NORMS social content across
TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, giving the brand an
authentic, dynamic presence online and continually
bringing new diners to the table.

We didn’t stop there. We brought the refreshed
NORMS brand to life across all touchpoints, including
commemorative 75th Anniversary branding,
traffic-stopping truck graphics, in-store signage,
menu design, loyalty app and website updates, and so
much more.
